Professional Training

For children from 9 years old (CM1) who decide to commit to dance, pre-professionals, talented and wishing to acquire a high degree of technical and artistic mastery, PARIS MARAIS DANCE SCHOOL offers a tailored intensive program by audition.

For ages 9-14

INITIAL cycle: for ages 9–11

ADVANCED course: for ages 12-14

A specific program for teenagers with classes in the morning allows them to continue their education with flexible schedules in the afternoon.

The school welcomes students from CHAD middle schools and Rognoni school and middle school.

11-month intensive program, from September to July

The program includes 12.5 hours of training per week, half of the fall, winter, and spring courses, and notably the intensive workshop summer intensive workshop in July.

Class Every day from September to the end of June, Monday to Friday:

• 5 to 12 classes week. classes place in the afternoon.
• Classical: technique and pointes 12+), variations (14+), partnering 15+), repertoire.
• Contemporary (14+): Graham, Limon, Cunningham, release, improvisation

VIRTUOSITY INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS autumn, winter, spring, summer

Presentation of the intensive workshops

• Classical focus: Variations & partnering Petipa and Balanchine, and variations according to your goals.
• Contemporary focus: repertoire & Choreographic Laboratory (developing your own creation). repertoire at intensive workshop .

- A performance takes place at the end of each intensive workshop.

Coaching & educational support

Students are monitored collaboratively by the teachers. A technical and artistic evaluation is provided to them each semester. Intermediate goals to be achieved are defined jointly with each student.

Annual show, at the theater

Every year, students participate in the annual show: The Nutcracker, The Rite of Spring, major ballets from repertoire, neoclassical and contemporary creations.

The complete curriculum

Elementary Cycle - Ages 9-11:

  • 12.5 hours per week

Advanced Cycle - Ages 12-14:

  • 12.5 hours per week

Advanced Cycle - Ages 15-17:

  • 15 to 18 hours per week

Undergraduate program ages 18-23:

  • 25 to 35 hours of classes rehearsals per week
