From the age of 9, the most motivated students who wish to invest more time in dance can join the classes (CHAD) offered as part of the professional training program at Paris Marais Dance School, in partnership with Rognoni Elementary School (Paris 5th arrondissement), and then middle and high schools offering flexible schedules.

School Holidays
classes always classes place on the first weekend of school holidays. They do not take place during the rest of the school holidays.
Several workshopstake place during all school vacations. The workshops last five days, from Monday to Friday, with the same classes day and a performance at the end of intensive workshop. They are a great opportunity to make significant progress, discover new disciplines, and perform on stage.
Classes take place all year round, from early September to late June, except during school vacations in zone C (Paris) and on public holidays. See Practical info.

A subscription is the recommended option, as it encourages regularity and progress. This is a year-long enrollment in classes same classes, with fixed days and times. 2025-2026 - When are the INTERNSHIPS?
Intensive workshops are scheduled during all school holidays.

Outside of school holidays, PMDS is open every day, from Monday to Sunday.
PMDS is closed:
- All public holidays, except during training courses and except November 11 and May 8.
- Ascension Day long weekend (Thursday to Sunday inclusive).

Is a medical certificate required?
For children and teenagers, a medical certificate is required each year for annual registration, even for classes . The medical certificate must be provided within one month of online registration. For workshops, the certificate is not required.
For adults, a medical certificate is not required.
Regardless of the participant's classes age, the instructor may request a medical certificate if he or she deems it necessary.
How to determine your level?
If you are a complete beginner or advanced, there is no question:
- Beginner 1st classes 1 year
- beginner : 2 to 4 years of practice after the age of 8
- confirmed / advanced : + 6 to 8 years of practice after the age of 8
If you have an intermediate level but haven't danced for a long time, no problem, you choose the level you want (beginner, intermediate or beginner/medium) and readjust if necessary.
Classical: You can attend the level you usually take. Then you can adjust if necessary.
