Paris Marais Dance School's professional training program is a leading program for young dancers aged 8 to 21 who aspire to join a professional dance company. During their final year, students prepare for stage performances and auditions to join a professional company in France or internationally.
Talented young pre-professionals, selected through audition, who wish to acquire a high degree of technical and artistic mastery, can thus access all styles and collaborate effectively with the best choreographers.
PARIS MARAIS DANCE SCHOOL offers a leading professional training program for aspiring dancers and future soloists seeking artistic, technical, and creative excellence.
Its originality stems from its exceptional combination of classical ballet contemporary dance, through the two most accomplished and virtuosic techniques: the Martha Graham technique in contemporary dance and the Balanchine technique in classical ballet.
The combination of these two complementary techniques gives today's dancers the richest technique for pursuing an international career with today's leading choreographers.
The comprehensive program is organized around three main areas: technique, repertoire, and choreography.
Combined with classes , individual research, and one-on-one coaching, it allows each dancer to truly find their path and move toward the company that best suits them.
Students are collaboratively monitored by their teachers. A written technical and artistic evaluation is provided to them each term during a personal interview. Students are assessed individually, not by level groups. Intermediate goals to be achieved are defined jointly with each student according to fully personalized schedules.
Students are trained and coached to join international-level companies. Therefore, they must acquire a specific mindset and professionalism, with behavior and physical fitness being major elements.
Former students of our training program have been accepted into the Martha Graham Dance Company II (NY, USA), the Metropolitan Ballet in Minneapolis (USA), Coyote Dancers Company (NY, USA), Karine Saporta Company (Paris), South Bohemian Ballet (Budapest), Russian Opera (Bulgaria), Eliot Smith Company (Newcastle, UK), Ballet Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), Dutch Don’t Dance Division (NL), Oldenburg Ballett (Germany), Nevada Ballet (USA), European Ballet (Austria), Dresden Ballett (Germany), Hamburg Ballett (Germany), Prejlocaj (France), Delattre Dance Company (Mainz, Germany), Ballet National de Marseille … and successfully passed their E.A.T. in classical or contemporary dance.
