Reference training

The Paris Marais Dance School is a benchmark training program for young dancers aged 8 to 21 who are destined to join a professional dance company. During their final year, students prepare for the stage and auditions to join a professional company in France or abroad.

Talented young pre-professionals wishing to acquire a high degree of technical and artistic mastery, selected by audition, have access to all styles and can collaborate effectively with the best choreographers.

An exceptional program

PARIS MARAIS DANCE SCHOOL offers a first-rate professional training program for future dancers and soloists in search ofartistic, technical and creative excellence.

Its originality lies in its exceptional combination of classical ballet and contemporary dance, through the two most accomplished and virtuoso techniques: the Martha Graham technique in contemporary dance and the Balanchine technique in classical ballet.
The combination of these two complementary techniques gives today's dancers the richest technique for an international career with today's leading choreographers.

The comprehensive program is organized around three main themes: technique, repertoire and choreography.
Combined with classes theory, individual research and individual coaching, it enables each dancer to really find his or her way, and orientate themselves towards the company that best suits them.

Coaching & pedagogical follow-up

Students are monitored jointly by their teachers. A written technical and artistic assessment is given each term during a personal interview. Students are assessed on an individual basis, not by level group. Intermediate objectives to be reached are defined jointly with each student according to fully personalized timetables.

Students are trained to enter world-class companies. It's a state of mind and professionalism they need to acquire, with behavior and physical fitness being key elements.
